I discovered your products in Portland at a store that carried them at the time. I was new to town having just arrived from Melbourne, Australia. I have always been a big Aesop user, but after trying the Rosewood & Blood Orange daily moisturizer, I was hooked. This is seriously the best moisturizer I have ever used. As a guy with slightly oily skin, this stuff keeps me moisturized, but not shiny and always feeling uplifted. We also use your hand wash in all of our bathrooms, and all our guests love it. I started following you on instagram after finding your product. As a small business owner too, I love to support local.

We stopped into the store for the first time on a day trip up from Burien many years ago. La Conner is my husband’s favorite town in Washington to visit, which works out well for me because I love an excuse to pop into the store and see what’s new in person. My favorite product is the sweet orange hand wash. I’d love a way to get plastic-free/new packaging-free refills and maybe even candle refills so I could reuse an existing container.
I stumbled upon Handmade while looking for our wedding venue (Christianson’s nursery). I absolutely fell in love with your products and your store—and even Winston’s. I go every chance I get and it still reminds me of the first time I stumbled upon the store. I was even more inspired when I found out it was woman led (I also recently started my own consulting biz). I love the natural home and body care products. My favorites are the powered lavender laundry detergent and the garden body scrub. I’d love to be able to bring my containers back and refill them directly (maybe for a discount), to save on packaging and waste—-not really a product, but a new service. As a new small business myself, I’ve found myself saying this quote often, “We don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are.” It’s a helpful reminder that our perspectives are shaped by unique struggles and experiences and we cannot expect things to always go a certain way. Our glasses our shaded. I hope handmade la Conner continues to offer products across the state/nation and continues to inspire small businesses and women/people like me! ❤️
I love your tattoo line. hands down amazing. As someone with Full sleeves, I love how vibrant these products make my tattoos. I never come to La Connor without a stop here. The best scents, sweaty grifts, great cards and great gifts. What more could you want.
